PBHL-H401 Strategic Planning in HC
Strategic Plan Assignment
In the strategic plan project, we each selected a hospital of interest and developed an individual plan by identifying a key problem and proposing strategic initiatives to address it. After completing our individual work, we formed groups, shared our ideas, and chose one person’s plan to develop further. As a team, we expanded the analysis, strengthened the strategies, and prepared a full presentation to share with the class

What I learned
From this project, I learned how important teamwork is in strategic planning. After creating our individual hospital plans, coming together as a group showed me how much stronger ideas become when different perspectives are shared. Listening to each person’s hospital problem and proposed initiatives helped us compare approaches and think more critically. Choosing one plan as a team taught me how to evaluate ideas respectfully and make decisions together. Working collaboratively also helped us strengthen the final plan; everyone contributed something different, whether it was research, analysis, or presentation skills.
