Volunteer Experience
I volunteered at Versiti Blood Center for a couple of months in 2025 as a greeter.
Volunteering at Versiti included:

Guided donors to check in and the waiting area, ensuring a smooth and welcoming donation experience

Monitor refreshment supplies and maintain a clean area

Check in with the donor after their blood donation to ensure they are comfortable
-
Sanitized seating and surface after each donor to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
From my experience at Versiti, I learned how to communicate clearly, support donors with care, and maintain a safe, organized environment in a healthcare setting.
