Early Internship Experience

I intern at Barrington of Camal as a life enrichment intern.

My responsibilities as an INTERN at Barrington included:

Delivered newspapers and mail to residents on schedule
● Engaged residents in interactive games like bingo to promote social interaction
● Lead a sitting exercise to support physical activity

I learned how to communicate with clarity and patience, adapt to different resident needs, and create a positive, engaging environment. This experience helped me develop confidence in working with diverse populations, improved my leadership skills, and deepened my understanding of person‑centered care in a senior‑living setting.
